Sydna Carrol (Fry) Hinkle was born on August 30, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Sybyl W. (Hamilton) Fry and James Clyde “J.C.” Fry. She passed away on January 15, 2021 in Arlington, Texas.
Sydna was a graduate of Carter Riverside High School and has been instrumental in organizing reunions and gatherings since her graduation. She worked and retired for Birdville Independent School District after 27 years; and was the secretary at O.H. Stowe where she was so proud to know every student that attended there. She was a Haltom Buffalo football fan and enjoyed attending their games with her children and grandchildren. She also was a loyal Texas Ranger and Dallas Cowboy fan as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, Bentley.
She is survived by her sons, Wes Pinkston of Fort Worth and Boomer Pinkston and wife, Danna of Haltom City; grandchildren, Kody Pinkston, Dylan Pinkston, Taylor Pinkston, Lane Pinkston, and Morgan Pinkston; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Paula Cotton of Fort Davis, and Karla Hinkle of Mansfield; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will be holding private services.
