Sylvia Mckee

Sylvia McKee, of Fort Worth, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on 16 September in Fort Worth, Texas. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend to all that knew her. She was born on January 26 1936 in Rotterdam Junction , New York to Louis and Jennie Battiste. Sylvia is survived by her husband Ken of 62 years from Fort Worth, sons Guy McKee and grand son Jake, Gary McKee and wife Sue, Gene McKee and wife Jan along with grand daughter Shannon and husband Scott Cumby with great grand daughter Cora-Rey and grand son Dillon with wife Kylee McKee. Sylvia spent her childhood years in up state NY, marrying her High School sweetheart. They raised a family in NJ until finally retiring in Fort Worth, Texas. Sylvia will be be remembered for her joy of life, wonderful sense of humor and devotion to her family.

The Celebration of Life, will be held at 1 pm on 20 September 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller TX. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to National Cancer Society in her name.
