Sylvia R. Rendon, 59, of Irving, TX entered into rest on July 26, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her beloved family. She entered into life May 23, 1959 in Mathis, TX to Teodoro and Jesusa Rodriguez. Sylvia married the love of her life, Armando Rendon on December 8, 1979. Throughout their 39 year marriage they were blessed with two daughters and four grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Elsa Rodriguez.
Sylvia enjoyed spending time with the people she loved the most. She enjoyed one on one time with her only granddaughter, Lauren, and getting manicures and pedicures with her. Sylvia cheered on the Texas Rangers with her family and especially with their number one fan, her grandson, Kaleb. She loved the many hugs and kisses from her littlest grand babies (Weslee and Paxton) and them yelling “Mamawww” over and over as they ran towards her. She also enjoyed shopping for purses and shoes with her daughters. Sylvia worked as a Paraprofessional for over 20 years and was a longtime member of Calvary Church in Irving, Texas.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Armando; her daughters, Amanda Olivarez and Sandra Young; sons-in-law Lorenzo and Casey; and 4 grandchildren: Lauren, Kaleb, Weslee, and Paxton. She is also survived by her six brothers: Ted Jr. of Plainview, Joe and Gilbert both of Amarillo, Daniel of Florida, Sammy of Slaton, and Lee of Grand Prairie and five sisters: Josie Torrez of Floydada, Elida Perez of Waxahachie, Belinda McDonald of Irving, Rosie Coronado and Mary Rodriguez both of Lubbock.
