Sylvia Valenzuela entered into life October 29, 1938 as the daughter of Victorio Correa and Angela Ortega Correa. Sylvia entered into eternal rest with her Heavenly Father on November 11, 2018 at her residence in Euless, Texas surrounded by her beloved family.
She is survived by her children; David Valenzuela of Dallas, Patricia Hasling of Bedford, Vincent Valenzuela of Fort Worth and Angela Valenzuela of Euless; daughter-in-law Lynn Valenzuela of Fort Worth; grandchildren Sean Hasling, Melissa Valenzuela, Vincent Valenzuela, Michael Valenzuela, Bryan Hasling, Jonathon Hasling and Vanessa Valenzuela; sisters Hilda Barron of Humble, Texas and Gloria Jett of Albuquerque, New Mexico; along with many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Sylvia raised four children as a single parent, devoting herself to their well-being and working different jobs in the restaurant and retail business to ensure they never went without.
In midlife, she became a born again Christian and committed the rest of her life to following Jesus Christ and bringing countless lost souls to the Lord.
In later years, she started a new career with Daystar Ministries in the Prayer Center. She worked with Daystar for 17 years and had no intention of retiring, loving every minute of working with her Daystar family and ministering to others.
Everyone who knew her loved her and we are all sad at her passing but joyful in that she is now with her Heavenly Father.
