T W "Dub" Harper

T W "DUB" HARPER of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 in Fort Worth, TX. He will always be remembered as a fine Christian man and a loving husband, father and grandfather, He was born on December 11, 1926 in Weatherford, TX to T W and Myrtle Harper. He served in the Navy at the end of World War II. As a younger man, he enjoyed camping, fishing and all sports, and he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Ann, daughter Rebecca Benson, son Brett (and Linda) Harper, son Tom Harper, and daughter Judy (and David) Peacock, ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy, sisters Sybil Braun and Martha Walthall, son-in-law Ralph Benson, granddaughter Beth Stinson, and many cousins and friends.

The visitation will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 S. Main (Hwy. 377), Keller, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31 at First Baptist Church Haltom City at 5800 Denton Hwy., officiated by Rev. C. M. Mosley. Interment will follow at Ash Creek Cemetery, 310 S. Stewart St., Azle, Texas
