Tamiko George, 68, passed away peacefully following a courageous seven year battle with cancer.
Funeral service 2pm Tuesday, Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst. Private interment to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
A native of Tendo City, Japan, Tamiko was born November 16, 1946 to Tasaku and Masae Sato Hanawa. She was a registered nurse and a longtime member of Tate Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors, husband, Robert George; sisters, Keynua, Kinuyo; niece, Keiko; nephew, Tasaburo; brothers-in-law, Kelly George, Bruce George; sister-in-law, Cheryl Hartman; nephew, Michael Hartman; niece, Kerry Buescher .
