Ted Vinson Whitlow

Ted Vinson Whitlow, age 80, of Justin, Texas passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Willow Bend Memory Care in Denton, TX.

Ted was born on September 11, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lesley Whitlow and Dora Dee Cochran Whitlow.

Ted was raised Baptist and was saved as a child. A lifelong Christian, he lived as an example of God’s grace.

Ted was a veteran of the United States Army who served in Korea. Upon returning to civilian life he moved to Dallas and worked at Nicol Scales Inc. as a scale technician for 30 years, until his retirement.

Ted married Linda Dianne Hall on June 3, 1967. They enjoyed life together for 53 years and raised two sons.

Ted is survived by wife Linda, son Brent, daughter-in-law Teri, and beloved granddaughter Emma.

Ted was preceded in death by son Mark Lesley Whitlow and sister Carolyn Ann Brown.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 21st at 9:15 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 20th at 2:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.
