Teddy Robert Crawford

Teddy Robert Crawford went to be with his Savior on May 2, 2024, at the age of 77.
He was born on Nov. 27, 1946 in Fort Worth, TX. He lived in the Fort Worth area for most of his life, and he graduated from LD Bell high school in 1965. He worked at Bell Helicopter for more than 40 years as a draftsman and engineer.
He found joy in telling stories, and during the last four years of his career with Bell, he had the opportunity to travel the world and see places like Tokyo, Madrid, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia. His travels allowed him to develop an immense repertoire of stories to share.
Other joys in his life included watching his collection of old films, telling (and playing) jokes, and fishing.
In 1986, Ted reconnected with his high school sweetheart Terri Knight Muldowney. They married on November 4, 1989.
Ted leaves behind his wife Terri, sister Kathy Reed, her husband Roger, daughter Cindy Chessher, her husband Kevin, daughter Patty Brown, her husband Jim, step-daughter Laura Caswell, step-son William Muldowney, his wife Dottie, step-son Scott Muldowney, and his wife Melissa, as well as 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Ruth and Lewis Robert Crawford, brother Ronnie Crawford, son Tommy Crawford, and step-son Edward Muldowney.
In accordance with his wishes, the family will be having a small remembrance reception on May 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at First Baptist Church Hurst.
