Terry Carter

Terrence Lee Carter passed away on May 15, 2018.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
Terry was born on May 8th, 1950 to Clara Amend and Finnly Carter. The most important thing to him was serving the Lord after he was saved as a Boy Scout. He spent time ministering to children in California and Texas. For 20 years he served as an Associate Pastor at Friendship Baptist Church and Spring Valley Baptist Church. Terry spent many more years in various ministries including bus ministry, teaching, preaching, VBS, writing books and articles, and creating a website to inform others about the truth of the Bible. He was a “good and faithful servant” who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Terry is survived by his wife, Susan Carter; daughters, Melissa Simpson and husband, Darren, Emily Carter, and Jennifer Partridge; grandchildren, Sedona Carter, Mollie Smith, Lilliegh Partridge, Vincent Partridge, Braxton Partridge, Benjamin Simpson, Jonathan Simpson, Charlie Simpson, and Kitt Hughes; sisters, Becky Brynsaas and husband Jeff, and Mary Carter; and many other extended family and friends.
