Terry Ray Kogel

Terry Ray Kogel, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 25, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 68. He was born on March 8, 1955, in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, to his loving parents, Jerome and Dorene Kogel..

Terry pursued his education and obtained his high school diploma in Wessington South Dakota in 1973. He furthered his education in the airline industry, graduating from vocational school in Ontario, California, in 1986. Terry dedicated his career to the field of fleet service, working diligently to ensure the safe and efficient operations of airlines.

Outside of his professional life, Terry had a passion for sports, particularly bowling and golfing. In his youth, he achieved great success, earning the impressive accomplishment of securing second place in the National Bowling competition for the senior high school youth bowling league in Washington, D.C.

On September 29, 1989, Terry embarked on a lifelong journey of love and companionship, marrying his beloved wife Ruby Kogel. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared innumerable cherished memories over the years.

Terry's legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife Ruby Kogel, his son Travis Kogel, his son Justin Kogel, his daughter Rachel Kogel and grandkids; Brinley Rae Warrick, Kennedy Grace Warrick and Iris Mae Kogel. He was an exemplary husband, father, and grandfather, dedicating himself to the happiness and well-being of his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by; parents, Jerome Kogel, and Dorene Kogel (1991); brother, James Kogel (11/1987); sister, Janelle Kogel (8 months old in 8/1953)

In remembrance of Terry's life, funeral services and ceremonies have been scheduled. Visitation will be held at the Lucas Funeral Home - Chapel on September 7, 2023, at 5:00 pm. This will be followed by a Rosary at 7:15 pm in the same location, allowing friends and family to pay their final tributes and gather strength in their time of loss.

A Mass in honor of Terry's life will take place on September 8, 2023, at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Terry Ray Kogel will forever be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and his commitment to his profession. His kind heart and warm smile touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.,
