Terry Stephens

Terry Lynn Stephens, 67, of Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 15, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1957, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Joe and Joyce Stephens. Terry raised his family in Fort Worth, Texas where he worked as a helicopter mechanic for Bell Textron for 30 years. Terry was known for his resourcefulness in practical problem solving, handy work, and witty sense of humor. However, no one who knew Terry would doubt that his family was the treasure of his life. He was an anchor who expressed his love through his actions… always showing up, supporting, and sacrificing for his loved ones without hesitation. 

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Becky Stephens; his son, Jeremy Veine, and wife DJ; his daughter, Jamie Salgado, and husband Erick; and his cherished grandchildren who knew him as “Pa”, Rylan and Rhett Salgado, and baby Veine.

He is also survived by his brother, Robert Stephens, and wife Denise; his sisters, Vicky Pearce, and husband Curtis, and Gayle Murray, and husband Jerry; his mother-in-law, Juanita Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

 Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Joyce Stephens; his fathers-in-law, Chester Smith and Gordon Taylor; and his brother-in-law, Barry Taylor.

 Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 beginning at 10:00 am at Wellspring Church located at 7300 Smithfield Road, North Richland Hills, TX 76182.
