Fort Worth - Thelma Jo Browning, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 27, 2018.
Service: Graveside service, 1:00 Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Pilot Point Community Cemetery in Pilot Point, TX. Dr. Fritz Ritsch, of St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, will officiate the service. The address is 600 North Prairie St. Visitation: The family will receive family and friends, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2018, at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, TX. The address is 1321 Precinct Line Rd.
Mrs. Browning was a homemaker, and expert seamstress. She was a charter member of St. James Presbyterian Church-Fort Worth. She enjoyed oil painting, growing a garden, reading, and just about anything Science Fiction. She loved listening to beautiful music, of all kinds. She was a huge fan of John Denver and Willie Nelson. She worked for years, at General Motors, in Arlington. She retired and enjoyed taking care of some of her neighbor’s children. She moved to Possum Kingdom Lake and enjoyed participating in the local Woman’s Club. Her greatest pleasure was the quiet, peaceful setting, and feeding the wild deer, birds, and other animals. She loved her cats.
Survivors: Son, Bryan Dale Browning, of Blanco, TX and Kimberly Buchanan, of Blanco, TX. Son, Tony Jason Browning, of Fort Worth, TX, and his partner Don Wilson, of Fort Worth, TX. She had numerous nieces and nephews and friends, and extended family.
