Thomas Daniel Sheehan of Grapevine, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Born November 10, 1950 to Mary (McElroy) and Daniel Sheehan in Chicago, Illinois. He is survived by his sister, Patricia (James) Russell; nephew Daniel Russell; nieces Jacqueline, Jessica, Megan and Katie Russell. Tom received a Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Illinois University. Following his time as a Sargent in the US Army from 1970-1972, he embarked on a long career in aviation. He most enjoyed his time as a Learjet pilot. He finished his career as a Learjet/C21A Distinguished Instructor for CAE SimuFlite. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Aurora, Illinois.
