Thomas Bruce Tennant

Thomas Bruce Tennant, 54, of Keller, Texas passed away at home on June 17, 2022. He was born March 30, 1968 to Jerald Tennant and Darlene Monteaux in Dallas, Texas.

He married Colleen Matheson on May 5, 1990 in the Los Angeles, California Temple.

Tom is predeceased by his step mother Marilyn Tennant and his mother in law Verna Matheson.

He is survived by his wife Colleen; his children Brittany and her husband Quinn and their son Red; Shelby; Karrin; and Joseph. As well as his father Jerald and wife Shirley, his mother Darlene, his brothers James Herndon (Gini), John Tennant (Terri), Jared Tennant, and Scott Tennant (Keith Yonick) and his sisters Renee Herndon Skarda (John) and Tasha Tennant and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Tom grew up in Duncanville, Texas and served a mission in the England London Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He later attended Brigham Young University, where he met his loving wife. After graduating from medical school at UTHSCSA, he was a family practice doctor for 27 years. Throughout his life, Tom was active in his church community and loved serving in his various callings.

He was a steady and strong role model and support to those in his family, a selfless friend and neighbor to all, and a man of great faith. We have all been blessed by the love, dedication, and sacrifices he made for each one of us throughout his life. He supported and provided us all with compassion and shared his wisdom and talents freely.

The visitation will be held Friday, June 24th at 6:00pm - 8:00pm at 1601 S Main St Keller, TX 76248. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25th at 10:00am at 500 W McDonwell School Rd Colleyville, TX 76034.
