Eternal rest grant unto Tim, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
“They look like big, good, strong hands, don’t they?,” the Rockbiter says in the 1984 movie The Neverending Story, a line Tim would quote and imitate to the squealing delight of his children. Dad, may you be in the big, good, strong hands of the Good Lord—as you always referred to God—forever.
