Tina Jeanette Barker

Tina Barker, resident of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Key West, Florida, passed away on January 22, 2023 at Huguley Hospital at the age of 50 years.

Tina was born in Key West, Florida on April 21, 1972 to Donald and Virginia Spriull. She was raised in Florida, Alaska and Texas, graduated high school and went to school for nursing.

She was a mother, school bus driver, accountant and a wonderful friend. Tina loved singing, arts and crafts, making floral arrangements and loves all of her grand babies most of all.

Tina will be remembered for being beautiful, big hearted, strong, stubborn, caring, loving and faithful.

Survivors include her husband Shawn Barker; daughter Katie Santos; son Chad Mohler; grandchildren Elizabeth Santos, Charlotte Donelson and Sawyer Donelson; mother Virginia Spruill; father Donald Spruill; sisters Diana Grey and Charlotte Griffey and brother Donald Allen Spruill.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Thelma Mouton; grandfather Martial Mouton; grandmother Addie Mary Jane Crosser; grandfather Luther Spruill; and granddaughter Amelia Donelson.

A memorial service will be held at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 27, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Star Legacy Foundation, National Psoriasis Foundation and the Marine Mammal Center.
