Tom Raymond Moore

Tom Raymond Moore, age 91 died at home in Euless, Texas on Monday, September 20, 2021, where he was surrounded by family.

He was born in Geary, Oklahoma to Joe Clinton Moore and Alma Allice McCorkle on December 25th, 1929. He lived and worked on a farm in Ada, Oklahoma until he graduated high school in 1949 and shortly afterwards, he enlisted in the Army National Guard of Oklahoma and served in time of war until 1951.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother, 14 other brothers and sisters and daughter, Donna Carol Oler.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Ann Moore; his sons and daughters, Raymond Gary Moore, Shirley Kay King, Dicky Dewayne Moore, Vicki Diane Dodson, Terry Don Moore ad Connie Lynn Kaylor. He is also survived by his youngest sister, Delores Davis. His legacy lives on through his many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and beyond, all of which will miss their special “Papa Honey”.

His many occupations included farmhand, driving the public-school bus at age 14, Pepsi Cola distribution, managing chemical processing plants, then retiring from American Airlines after 26 years of service.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053 at 11:00 am, Monday, September 27, 2021. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, 5801 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034. The family welcomes all of those whose lives were touched by Tom “Raymond”, to join us Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst, Texas.
