Tommy Charlene Overstreet Renfro

Mrs. Renfro passed away peacefully on August 8, 2023 at her home in North Richland Hills, surrounded by her family. Charlene was born December 17, 1946 in Columbia, TN to the late Myron and Elma Ree Overstreet. She grew up in Columbia and met the love of her life, Donnie Renfro, in the town square. They were married until she was called home. They had two children, Scott and Kristy, and eventually moved to North Richland Hills, TX.

They raised their children there and it has always been home. She loved her husband and her children with all her heart, and was blessed with two wonderful grandchildren. Her beloved dog, Tooder, rarely left her side. Per her wishes, there will be no service. Donations can be made in her name to the American Stroke Association.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donnie Renfro of North Richland Hills, TX; son Scott (Rachel) Renfro of Ladson, SC; daughter Kristy (Jeremy) Wiley of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Peyton and Caden Renfro; her sweet dog, Tooder; and many dear relatives and family friends.

The family would like to thank her numerous doctors over the years, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine for their amazing care during her final days.
