Keller – Tracie Leigh Lawson,38, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Crown of Life Lutheran Church in Colleyville. Interment will follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Tracie was born August 5, 1978 in Clovis, New Mexico and graduated high school at Crystal Lake South High School in Crystal Lake, Ill. In 1997, Tracie joined the U.S. Navy where she served as a Hospital Corpsman. She was one of the first females to successfully graduate from the Marine Corps Field Medical Training Program at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. After proudly serving her country for 6 years, she worked as a train dispatcher for BNSF Railway for several years before returning to the medical field.
In 2013, she married Sean Lawson and they made their home in Keller, Texas. She loved spending time with her family and especially her girls, Makenzie, Kaitlyn, and Charli. Tracie will forever be remembered as a beloved daughter, exceptional sister, loving wife, wonderful mother, and caring aunt.
Survivors: Husband, Sean Lawson; daughters, Makenzie and Kaitlyn; parents, Guy and Susan Austin; sister, Brandi Duke and husband Jeremy; nieces, Hailey Lawson and Charli Duke; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family members.
