Tracy Lynn Smoot

April 17, 1973 — December 24, 2020

Tracy Lynn Smoot, 47, of Athens TX, received her crown of life on 12/24/2020 after a long and fierce battle with stage four breast cancer.

Tracy was born in North Richland Hills on 4/17/1973. She graduated from Haltom City and attended Tarleton State University where she met and fell in love with Larren Smoot. They were married on January 9, 1993.

Tracy was an active member of every community she lived in. She held leadership positions in multiple homeschool groups, churches, and Boy Scout troops. She loved working with children and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband Larren and 10 children; Karah, Brandon (and his wife Abigail), Keatyn, Bryson, Canyon, Cooper, Gideon, Grayson, Haven, and Harvest as well as her first grandson, Bear. Her mother Sally Kempff, step-father Pieter Kempff, and brother Derek Presley.

She was preceded in death by her little brother Brandon Clark Presley, her father Rick Presley, her beloved grandparents and her uncle Bill.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 31 from 9:00 am to 12:00 at Lucas Funeral Home. 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX.

Graveside Service will follow at 12:30 at Bluebonnet Hills 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX. Tracy will be laid to rest under an oak tree next to her little brother Brandon.
