They married in 2003 in Georgia, and started their life in DFW, where they served as youth group leaders, for a much loved group of kids, and with Apartment Life at communities in Irving and Fort Worth. Also an entrepreneur, Trent started his own website/advertising company, Caffeinated Studio in Grapevine that served many community businesses and ministries.
Trent and Sarah were gifted with three beautiful daughters during these years - Kathryn, Elianna, and Kristyn. The greatest joy of his life was watching them grow and getting to be their Dad. Trent also discovered a new passion for emergency medicine during these years, attaining his paramedic certification and working for MedStar in Fort Worth, serving his community, training new medics, and touching countless lives. He later worked for the Office of the Medical Director, helping craft policies and using his extensive team building skills. Trent also served for many years as a Strike Team leader for disaster response with BFCS, on numerous extended deployments across the country.
Trent completed a bachelors of science in Emergency Health Management at the University of Texas San Antonio, and went on to attain flight paramedic certification. He served with Air Methods during the height of the pandemic, flight transporting severely ill patients across the southwest. He was proud to raise his family in the greater Fort Worth area. Trent’s personal faith was the center of his life, a member of Cornerstone Bible Church, Grace Community PCA, CityView Church, and Hillside Community Church.
