Treva, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother has been joyously reunited with her husband, mother, father, and brother in heaven.
Widowed for many years, Treva Nell, as many knew her, was a kind, independent soul who loved her family but loved her Lord and Savior above all. She was born on December 14, 1925 in Winnsboro, Texas to Dean and Gerda Sharp. She worked in food service at Birdville Independent School District for 32 years, retiring as a cafeteria manager at Haltom High School. She was devoted to her job and her family. Treva was the model of a faithful Christian wife and mother. She loved her church, loved to read, and she loved to cook for her family and extended family. Her home was a sanctuary.
Treva Nell passed away on Saturday, September 14 in Denton, Texas.
She is survived by brother Joe Dean Sharp; three children—Larry Davis and wife Paulette; Carolyn (Davis) Cowling and husband Mickey; Mike Davis and wife Deana; as well as seven granddaughters and their spouses; one grandson and his spouse; and a grandson. She had sixteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerald Davis; and infant brother, Jesse Joyce Sharp
