Born on May 5, 1964, in San Angelo, TX, Troy peacefully departed from this world on August 18, 2024. A devoted family man, Troy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of his loved ones.
Funeral ceremonies will be held to honor Troy's life, beginning with a visitation at Lucas Funeral Home - Keller on August 23, 2024, at 9:00 am. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at 10:00 am. Troy will then be laid to rest at Elizabeth Cemetery at 12:00 pm on the same day.
In life, Troy found joy in the simple pleasures of strumming his guitar, engaging in soccer matches, and relishing the time spent with his grandchildren. He will be forever remembered by his wife Tracie Tims, children Justin Wilkerson, Katie Wilkerson, Nathan Tims, and Adam Tims, along with an extended family that adored him deeply.
Troy's memory will live on through his grandchildren Zach, Zane, Jackson, Tessa, Tatum, Jude, and Noah, who will forever carry the light of his love within them. He is also survived by his father Joseph Tims Sr., brothers Joseph Tims Jr., Tony Tims, sister Rebecca Tims Callis, and a host of other family members and friends.
As we come together to celebrate Troy's life and bid him a peaceful farewell, let us remember the laughter he brought, the love he shared, and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. In his death, we find solace in knowing that his spirit will forever watch over those he held dear.
