Vanessa Sisoumpoo Yang - a beautiful and vivacious 23-year-old whose life ended too soon. She was the bright light in every room. In between two-stepping in her cowboy boots and enjoying her young life, she was a single mother who found time to help coach her son’s little league games. Vanessa loved most spending time with her family eating her father’s “gourmet” pasta dinners and watching silly comedy movies. She grew up in Haltom City and later moved to Keller, Texas where she graduated as a proud Timber Creek falcon. She attended the University of North Texas. She leaves behind her doting father, Ming Yang, her devoted mother, Khamla Phetsavong, her loving sisters, Samantha, Priscilla, and Amanda, and her greatest accomplishment, her 4-year-old son, Bowen Meyer, who will forever be Vanessa’s “little man.”
