Mrs. Veda Belle Cavness passed away on January 18, 2017 in Grapevine, Texas. She was 93 years of age.
Visitation: The family will greet guests from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas. Graveside Service: 11:00 am, Saturday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, Missouri.

Veda was born on October 26, 1923 in Anderson, Missouri to Morton and Laura Pratt. She was preceded in passing by her loving husband of over 45 years, George Edward Cavness; and her parents.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debbie Lee, Pam Rushing, and Tina Kirst; granddaughters, Kelly Prasse, Jena Jayroe, Sarah Kirst, and Katherine Kirst; great-grandchildren, Dylan Lee Prasse, Finley Belle Prasse, and Locke Elan Jayroe; son-in-law, John Lee; grandson-in-law, Kris Prasse; and a host of loving family and friends.
