Velda Keith Wall

Velda Keith Wall, 89, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017.
Funeral: 10:00 AM Tuesday at Richland Hills Christian Church. Interment: 1:30 PM Tuesday in Oak Grove Cemetery in Decatur.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Richland Hills Christian Church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
Velda was born September 9, 1927 in Decatur to the late Keith and Nancy Cates. She was a teacher in Birdville School District for over 30 years and taught Sunday School for over 40 years. After retirement, she enjoyed genealogy research and volunteering as a Docent of The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
Velda was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Wall, Jr and grandson, Brian Nippert.
Survivors: Sons, Joe Wall and Keith Wall and wife Nancy; daughter, Galen Nippert and husband Michael; grandchildren, Courtney, Mallory, Jacquelyn, and Katherine; brother, Keanon Burton Cates and wife Janice; and a host of friends and extended family members.
