Velma Louise Mccutcheon

Velma Louise Easley McCutcheon was born July 24, 1927 in New Albany, MS. She recently passed away at ninety one years old after a full life of love, accomplishment, faith, joy and service. Mrs. McCutcheon was a longtime Mississippi resident until she moved to Texas eight years ago to be near her immediate family. In Texas, she was a resident at Parkwood Retirement Community and a member of First Euless Baptist Church. Mrs. McCutcheon was a LPN and Critical Care Nurse for over 25 years and recognized as one of the top nurses at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN. Her Christian faith never wavered and she served countless people over the years with love, prayer, compassion and support.

Ike Chunn - grandson of Keller, TX Clifford & Sue Easley - brother and sister-in-law of New Albany, MS Loretta Easley & Shelby Easley - sister-in-laws of Keownville, MS Many beloved Nieces and Nephews

A family and friends visitation will be at Lucas Funeral Home, Grapevine, TX, on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Mrs. McCutcheon’s funeral service will be at United Funeral Service Funeral Home in New Albany, MS on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
