Vera M. Wilkinson, 95, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 in Weatherford, TX.

SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main, Weatherford, TX 76086. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Forth Worth, TX.

Vera and her husband, Rev. Elbert R. Wilkinson, were pastors in Fort Worth for over 42 years. Their church was known as Christian Temple in Richland Hills and formerly Riverside Assembly of God. Many people knew her as the First Lady of Christian Temple and of North Fort Worth Section of the Assemblies of God. Currently she is a member of North Side Baptist Church in Weatherford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elbert; great-granddaughter, Tabitha Riggs and sister, Frances Robinson.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Shirley Riggs & husband, Fred; grandchildren, Brian Riggs and Yvonne South & husband Eddie; great-grandchildren, Kayla South Aaron & husband, T.W., II, Elizabeth Riggs, Samantha Riggs, Abigail Riggs & Nehemiah Riggs; great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey South, Hudson Aaron South and Carter Aaron.
