Vernon W. Cassady

Vernon W. Cassady, 74, of Hurst passed away September 15th in Fort Worth.
Funeral Service; Friday, 2:00 p.m., Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst with visitation one hour prior to service.
Mr. Cassady was born November 8, 1942 in Florala, AL to Leonard and Louise Cassady.
He worked in cellular towers, enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking but was especially known for his wood carving talent and interest.
Mr. Cassady was preceded in death by his parents; son Dane Cassady and brother Mark Cassady.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Cassady; son Grant Cassady; step-daughters Donna (Larry) Springs and Debbie Hart; grandchildren Debbie and Ashley; step-grandchildren Christopher, Jojo and Lynzi; brothers Randall (Brenda) Cassady and Danny (Bonnie) Cassady; sisters Linda (Tommy) Carmichael and Peggy Stewart and special friend Dave Flutie.
