Vickie Denise Lambert

On Sunday November 24th, 2024 Vickie D. Lambert was called home be with our Lord. She fought a long and courageous fight against cancer.

 Vickie was born in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Leona and Clifford Walsh, the youngest of 5 siblings. She spent her life giving to others, and taking care of everyone around her. She was truly a selfless soul, caring deeply for all those around her. All who had the great joy to know her were treated as family, and loved immeasurably. She loved to share a meal, catch a fish, beat you in any card game, and out hunt us all. Her greatest joys in life were her loving husband Cas and her son Michael, she was and will always be deeply proud of all they do.

 While the sorrow of this loss is felt greatly by her family and loved ones, we have peace in knowing that she walks now with her savior free from sickness and pain. The separation of death is temporary, for we will see her again in glory someday.

 Vickie was preceded in death by her parents Leona and Clifford Walsh, and brother Johnny Walsh.

 Vickie is survived by her husband Cas Lambert, son Michael Lambert, siblings Jan and Jean Raines, Tracy and Freda Walsh and Larry Walsh, and countless other family members and friends. 

 A memorial service honoring Vickie will be held on Saturday December 7th at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. The service will be held at Lucas Funeral home in Hurst, TX. 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053
