Victor Eloy Gurule’, 74, unexpectantly passed away on August 25, 2018.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be at 11 am, Sunday, October 7th at
Lucas Funeral Home-1321 Precinct Line Rd., Hurst, TX 76053.
Victor was born on August 27, 1943 in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he grew up. Vic graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1961 and went on to graduate from NM Highlands University where he obtained his degree in Business Administration. Victor settled in Fort Worth Texas in 1966 and was rewarded a very successful management career with General Dynamics and subsequently Lockheed Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents Demos and Juanita Gurule’. SURVIVORS: Beloved wife of 55 years, Dickie Faye Gurule’;
daughters, Sloan Gurule’; Nikki Evans and husband Marvin; son Roland Gurule’ and wife Kila. Victor was blessed with 7 grandchildren; Jon Paul Tabor, Krystal Evans, Timothy Schroeter, Victor Evans, Robert Schroeter, Katherine Schroeter, and Kailie Gurule’. He was additionally blessed with 4 great-grandchildren; Gregory, Braxton, Koby, and Camdyn. ALL of whom he was referred to as Bumps! Victor also leaves his loving sisters, Priscilla and Jeanette, and “little brother” David. Victor was highly respected by his family and friends. His grand laughter, and true loving spirit will be missed. After retiring, Victor spent most of his time on the golf course, trout fishing in the mountains of New Mexico, as well as, bass fishing in the lakes of Texas. Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle to his family. Each person had a special relationship with Bumps, whether it be sharing his wisdom, mentoring, bantering, or just sitting back relaxing and cooking out watching football or golf.
Victor will always hold a special place in each one of our hearts.
