Vincent Coletti

ARLINGTON -- Vincent Coletti, 95, of Arlington, TX (formerly of Paoli and Valley Forge, PA) passed away on Monday February 29, 2016.
Friends may visit briefly 11AM-12PM on March 10, 2016 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd, Hurst, TX 76053. Burial immediately following at DFW National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association (at: www.alz.org ) or to Girard College Development Fund (at: www.girardcollege.edu ).
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 19, 1920 and was a proud 1938 graduate of Girard College, Philadelphia, PA which had a profound influence on his life. He served in the US Army during World War II from July 29, 1942 to December 19, 1945 as a technical sergeant fluent in French and Italian, stationed in Northern France.
He married Marie Iovacchini of Newfield, NJ on September 1, 1946 after honorable discharge from the Army. Vince spent more than 50 years as a successful mortgage banking executive and well-known expert in the field. He was also very active in the DFW chapter of the Girard College Alumni Association, serving many years as the Treasurer. During their 67 years of marriage, Vince and Marie raised a family of 3 children in Paoli and Valley Forge, PA and enjoyed 4 grandchildren in retirement from their home in Arlington, TX.
Vince is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Coletti and Marie Pretorra Coletti Lunari, brothers Mario and Thomas Coletti, step-brother Joe Lunari and in 2013 by his wife Marie Iovacchini Coletti.
Survivors: He is survived by his 3 children: Christa and husband John Sladden of Grapevine, TX; Patricia of Bedford, TX; Vincent II and wife Linda of West Chester, PA. He is also survived by grandchildren: Nicholas Sladden, Julia Sladden, Dr. Heather Coletti, and Leslie Coletti, Esq.
