Vincent Robert Petrosino was born November 9, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York and is loved deeply by his family and friends. At a young age, Vinny was called to serve others and did so as a Boy Scout, Altar Boy, Explorer with the Long Beach New York Volunteer Firefighters and then into the Army. After achieving E-4 Specialist, Vinny was honorably discharged after 3 years of service to our country. Vinny then went on to work at his Union job for 36 years. Loved by so many, Vinny was surrounded by family during his last few weeks, inspiring us all with his courageous battle with cancer. Vinny was called to join his Mother Marie and Father Vincent on January 27, 2020 at 4:20am. Vinny leaves behind so many that loved and cherished time with him, his humor and personality were one of a kind. Those who found themselves in his circle of love knew time with him would be spent laughing or joking. He now will serve as an angel to his children that he shares with Joann Rube; Children Angela Atwood husband James Atwood, Vincent Petrosino, Tara Cabaniss husband Daniel Cabaniss and Robert Petrosino wife Maggie Petrosino and his beloved grandchildren, Braden, Marley, Michael and Jordan. Vinny also leaves behind his siblings, Louis Petrosino wife Susan Petrosino, Marie Petrosino-Woolverton husband Larry Woolverton, Michael Petrosino wife Colleen Mascaro, Teddy Petrosino and Joyce Petrosino, who will all miss his encouraging and loving commitment as a brother and friend. Vincent was loved by so many and all are welcome to say farewell on February 4th at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas from 6pm – 8pm. A traditional Catholic Burial Mass will be held on February 5th at 11 am at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville,TX and then he will be laid to rest at 1:30pm at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
