Viola Louise Dixon

Viola L. Dixon, resident of Burleson, TX, formerly of Mansfield, TX, passed away on April 25, 2024 at
home at the age of 89 years.

She was born in Mansfield, TX with four older siblings. She married at the age of 20 to Wayne E. Dixon.
They traveled all over the U.S. while he was in the Army. She was regarded as wonderful and faithful,
even taking care of her husband for over 15 years after he became paralyzed in 2004. She was a very
loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was of the Christian faith and very involved as an Eastern
Star.

She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Normand, her grandchildren Darin W. Dixon, and Shawn C.
Duckworth, and her great-granddaughter Zadie L.V. Dixon. She was preceded in death by her husband
Wayne E. Dixon, daughter Beverly A. Hall, father Thomas A. Long, Mother Ethel B. Hall, and sister Ethel
Blanch.
