Virgie Lee Gresham, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Born on July 23, 1931, in Barlett, Texas, she graduated from Barlett High School in
1948 before marrying John F. Gresham and moving to Houston where they had four
children.
In the early 70’s the family moved to Burleson, where she lived until her passing.
During that time, she had an extensive career with Parker College of Chiropractic (now
Parker University) as an assistant to the founder, Dr. James Parker.
Vergie had a love for animals, including birds, cats, and her beloved Pomeranians.
She had a special passion for her Koi/goldfish ponds filled with varieties of waterlilies,
many of which were rare and unique.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and brother Kenneth Lindemann.
She is survived by her son Gary Gresham and wife Stephanie, daughter Sherrie Lewis
and husband Tony, son Terry Gresham and wife Shawn, son Ryan Gresham,
grandchildren - Jeff, Garrett, Rachel, Tony Jr, great-grandson Connor, sister Joyce Otts,
and sister-in-law Adeline Lindemann.
