Wallace “Reed” Whitlock, 68, passed away surrounded by his family at the hospital on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Bedford.
A time of gathering will be held on Monday, July 10th, 5:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, in Hurst, Texas.
Reed was born March 18, 1949 to Wallace Whitlock and Nina Connell Haffke in Dallas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Hugh Whitlock; his grandparents; and 1 grandchild, Knox Tucker.
Survivors include his mother, Nina Haffke of North Richland Hills; son, Christopher Whitlock and his wife, Chassina of Keller; daughter, Amber Whitlock Tucker and her husband, Ben of Carthage; and 4 grandchildren Aidan and Payton Whitlock of Keller, and Kylee and Cason Tucker of Carthage; brother, Scott Whitlock and his wife, Pam of North Richland Hills; as well as a niece, nephew, other extended family and friends.
