Wanda L. Daley went to be with her Lord and savior on Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Grapevine. She was 91 years of age.
Service: 10am Thursday at First Baptist Church of Grapevine. Interment to follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will greet guests from 5 to 7pm Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine.
Wanda was born on August 24, 1924 in Brazos, Texas to Earl and Valona Gilbert. She was a longtime active member of First Baptist Church of Grapevine as well as the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, John "Eddie" Daley; grandson, Todd Hill; great-grandson, Travis; and brother, R.C. Gilbert.
Survivors: Daughters, Linda Hill and husband Don, and Barbara Warren and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Michael Holder, Lesa Tracer and husband Doyle, Scott Hill and wife Kim, Brenda Hudson and Dan Hill; great-grandchildren, Rodney, Kirsten, Jakob, Eryke, Kimberly, Brittney, Bethany and Blake; six great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Gilbert and wife Vonna and their extended family; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, church family and friends.
