FORT WORTH -- Warren Van Lee Latshaw III, age 69, passed away after a fierce battle with lung cancer on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Warren was born on January 14, 1947 to Warren Van Lee Jr. and Janelle Allen Latshaw. He graduated from Richland High School in 1965 where he was named Mr. Richland and was Captain of the football team. He grew up in the Methodist church. Shortly after high school he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. On return from the Marines he married Linda Peek and they had two children. They were married for 12 years. He worked at General Motors before he, his father and brother owned several Exxon service stations. He most recently owned Texas 10 vehicle repair shop in Hurst. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gregory Allen Latshaw.
He is survived by spouse, Dr. Evelyn Bean, son, Leigh Latshaw of New Orleans, daughter, Lainie Latshaw of Dallas, granddaughter, Nova Latshaw, sister, Toni Latshaw Wood, aunt Jacqueline Latshaw Elkins, nephews Craig Latshaw and Cody Thomas, nieces Erin Latshaw Jensen and Tandy Dowdy along with many cousins and friends who loved and will miss him.
