Warren Jay Troseth was born June 1, 1948, in Tracy Minnesota to Joseph and Donna Troseth. Warren was baptized and confirmed at the Tracy Presbyterian Church and as an adult baptized at Bedford Christian Church Texas.
Warren married his high school sweetheart, Betty Jo Visker at the Church of Christ in Tracy Minnesota on February 16, 1968. Betty Jo was his heart for 57 years and married 54 of those years. Their union was blessed with three amazing children, Laura Paige, Weston Jay, and Mary Lynn, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
After graduating from Tracy High School, Warren went to Dunwoody Institute of Drafting and then furthered his education at the Minnesota School of Business.
Warren served honorably in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 as a communication specialist. He served 14 months in the Vietnam War.
With a degree in accounting, he soon realized that sitting behind a desk was not for him. Warren had several different career paths in sales and management. After retirement, Warren bought a motorhome. He and Betty Jo traveled and camped with family and friends. They also enjoyed spending summers at their home on Lake Shetek (on the golden pond) with their Minnesota family and friends. Warren enjoyed a cruise on the Panama Canal with family just a few weeks prior to his hospitalization.
Warren was an avid collector and skilled craftsman. He loved working in his garage organizing tools and making keepsakes for his family and friends.
Warren is survived by his wife, Betty Jo, three children; Laura (Louis) duCharme of Lake Shetek Minnesota, Weston (Katie) Troseth of Argyle Texas, and Mary (Toby) Howard of Flower Mound Texas; Grandchildren; Derrick (Hannah) Vandromme, Ashley (Seth) Swan, Dylan (Jessi) Vandromme, Taylor Troseth, William Troseth, Carson Troseth, Sam Howard, Hannah Howard, and Olivia Howard. Great grandchildren; Everett, Otto, Elliott, Emma, Avery, Ruby, Wyatt, Kytalynn, and Kale. Sister; Judy (Tom) Tighe, and many other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law; Terry Vandromme, and parents in-law; Joyce and John Visker
