Willa Dean Pendergras

Willa Pendergras, 84, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Mustang Creek Assisted Living in Burleson, TX. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home in Burleson, with Robert Moss officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Acton Cemetery in Hood County.
Willa was born January, 8, 1936 in Quemado, Texas, to Tommie R and Dorothy (Kimmel) Locke. She grew up in Granbury, and graduated from Granbury High school 1954. After high school she when to work for JC. Penny’s and retired after 20 years. Then she worked at Owen Oil Tools and retired after 15 years. Willa volunteered at Huguely Hospital and Mission printing.
Willa married Wade in Granbury and they were happily married for 49 years. Willa was a member of Highland Church of Christ. She enjoyed knitting and helping elderly people.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie and Dorothy Locke; husband, Victor Wade; and sister, Reta Locke.
Willa is survived by her sons, Ricky Pendergras and Tom Pendergras and wife, Sondra; sisters, Martha Dean and Dottie Moyers; grandchildren, Autumn Williams, Aubrey Taylor, Joanne Matin, and Danikka Matin; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
