Mae was born on November 7, 1946, in Grapevine, Texas. Mae was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 36 years. She loved music, especially American Bandstand. Mae was a devout Christian woman who loved the Lord.
She loved all sports, but her favorites were football and baseball (Cowboys/Rangers). She will be loved, missed, and remembered in our hearts forever.
She was preceded in death by parent’s AC and Ersie Mae Harwell Johnson and sister Margaret Ann Sistrunk, and brother AC Johnson Jr.
Survivors: Husband of 44 years Gilbert Placencia, son Michael Placencia and fiancé Elaine Castillo, granddaughters; Emily, Isabella, Karina, grandsons; Austin, Emilio, Sisters; Margie McPherson and husband Rick McPherson, Gayle Johnson, sister-in-law; Mary Cal Johnson, brother-in-law; Thomas Sistrunk; many nieces and nephews.
