William Clifford Bass

William Clifford “Cliff” Bass, 95, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord Feb. 19, 2015.
Funeral service 2:00pm Monday in Lucas Funeral Chapel, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, with viewing and visitation at 1:00pm. Interment 10:30am Tuesday, DFW National Cemetery.
Born April 14, 1919 in Waxahachie, Texas, Cliff served in the U.S. Navy during WWII where he met his wife of 65 years, Marge. The majority of Cliff’s working career was spent with Waukesha Pearce Ind. He retired in 1984 to the home he built overlooking Cedar Creek Lake.
Cliff was preceded in death by his wife Marge and is survived by his son Jeff (Robbie) of Ft. Worth, daughter Sandy Jones (Danny) of Jacksonville, FL, granddaughters Jennifer and Stephanie Bass of Austin and Lubbock, goddaughter Melissa Herring of N Richland Hills, 1 niece, and 2 nephews.
