William “Bill” Foy
On Thursday November 3, 2022, Bill Foy went home to be with the Lord.
Funeral Services: 1:00pm Monday November 28, 2022 at the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home; 1601 South Main Street, Keller. Visitation: 12:00pm to service time on Monday November 28, 2022 at Funeral Home.
Bill Foy was born in Allardt, Tennessee on April 28, 1938 to Charles and Hazel Foy. He graduated from York Institute in Jamestown, Tennessee. Soon after he joined the Army; while on leave he met the love of his life Glenda Sue Totty. After a short 3 months the got married on November 9, 1958. Bill was then deployed to Germany; set up a home there and his loving wife Sue joined him. While in Germany, Bill worked on the fuel for the Red Stone Ballistic Missile. In 1960, he was honorable discharged from the Army and worked various jobs including Sunbeam Bread, Delta Airlines, Braniff Airlines, Otis Elevator and then Texas Instruments Missile Division, where he later retired. He enjoyed going to the family farm in Annona, Texas. His hobbies included raising and sharing his summer and winter garden, playing with his granddaughters, and then his 6 great-grandchildren.
Bill Foy is proceeded in death by his parents Charles Edwin and Wilma Hazel Foy, brothers: James, Eddie, John Foy; sisters: JoAnn Rains and Pat Grenci; his loving wife Sue Foy and his son Mark Foy.
Survivors include his daughter Renee Foy of Keller; Granddaughters: Tiffany Grant and husband Spencer of Watauga, Texas, Heather Leimbacher and husband Phillip of Annona, Texas; Great-grandkids: Olivia, Ansley, Eli, Alex, Zachary and Brigid; his brother Rod Foy of Allardt, Tennessee; and a host of loving family and friends.
