William Fisher Bissett, Jr. passed away on December 31, 2016 in Grapevine. He was 84 years of age.
Service: A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at White's Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake. Interment will follow at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: The family will greet guests from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine.

William was born on May 13, 1932 in Washington D.C. to William Bissett, Sr. and Georgia Bissett. He proudly retired as a Lt. Col. from the United States Air Force after 29 years of dedicated service. William also spent 39 combined years with the Civil Service and the F.A.A. He'll be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 56 years, Evelyn Bissett; his parents; and his brothers, Robert Bissett and Thomas Bissett.
Survivors: William is survived by his children, Victoria Radzai and her husband, John, Cathy Dees and her husband, Jim, Cynthia Burns, and William Bissett, III and his wife, Deleese; grandchildren, Christine, Jordan and her husband, Andrew, Dixie, Casey, Josh, Fisher, Hunter, and Gunner; great-grandson, William; sister, Linda McGowan and her husband, Richard; brother-in-law, Charles Cross and his wife, Rosemary; sisters-in-law, Francis Bissett and JoAnn Clow and her husband, Ray; and many loving family members and friends.
