William H. Bowdler Jr.

Dr. William H. Bowdler, 86, of Burleson passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at his residence.
Visitation: Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, Burleson.
Dr. Bowdler was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to William H. Bowdler Sr. and Helen L. Boyle Bowdler. He graduated from Ohio State University and Ohio Podiatry College. He practiced as a podiatrist in Fort Worth for many years. Dr. Bowdler was an Army veteran of World War II, and was an avid drummer entertaining in soldier shows.
Survivors: Wife, Dee; son, David Marshall and his wife, Mary; daughter, Donna Nichols; grandchildren, Monica and Maegan Marshall and Ben Nichols; niece; and nephew.
