William Gerald Herrick

William Gerald Herrick (Bill), 80, beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather went to his heavenly home January 14, 2021. A visitation will be held at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 S.W. Johnson Ave. from 4-6pm, Friday, January 22nd.
Bill was born December 12, 1940 in Edson, WI to Urban and Rosella (Glenz) Herrick. He grew up in Stanley, Wisconsin and was the oldest of 8 children. He graduated from Stanley High School in 1959. After high school, he joined the Air Force and served for 9 years. He was honorably discharged in 1968, achieving the rank of Staff Sargent. After serving in the Air Force, he began working for Miller Brewing Company in 1974 where he worked for 33 ½ years before retiring in 2007.

He was the most wonderful, kind, generous and loving Husband, Daddy, Brother, Uncle and the very best Papa a grandson could ever have. Cayden was his pride and joy and he lovingly called him “My Boy”.
He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Herrick of Burleson, Texas; daughter, Stacie Herrick of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Larry and Clifford Herrick of Wisconsin; and his parents.
William is survived by his daughter, Kim Chancey and spouse, Linda Wright of North Richland Hills, Texas; grandson, Cayden Lynn Chancey; and siblings Art, LaWanda, Lavonne, Clayton and Carl.
