William "Jarrett" Howell

William “Jarrett” Howell of Hurst, Texas passed quietly at home on Wednesday July 20, 2022. Jarrett was born June 26, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas to William “Bill” Howell and Imogene Jones Howell.
The Howell family moved to Frederick, Oklahoma to open a creamery, Howell’s Milk and Ice Cream. In Frederick, he met Patricia Fisher and they married in November of 1964. Once married, they moved to Arlington, Texas where he worked at General Motors before working with family at James Contract Draperies and Eagle Contracting from where he retired.
Jarrett thoroughly enjoyed motorcycles; first dirt biking and then road biking when he bought his Harley-Davidson. He loved traveling across the country with his motorcycle buddies.
Jarrett is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie Howell and Suzanne Wetzel, son-in-law, Jon Wetzel and his beloved grandchildren, Hazel Suzanne and Henry Jarrett; his brother John Howell and sister-in-law Jane Howell and sister-in-law Diane Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and countless cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Patricia, his parents Bill and Imogene Howell Craig and his sister Brenda Duncan.
His presence will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
