William B. “Bill” Mason, 70, was surrounded by family and friends when he was called home to our Lord on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. Bill, to all who knew him, was a unique and selfless individual who brought light and laughs to so many.
Memorial Service: Friday, May 10, 2019 at 4:00pm at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, 700 W. Wall street, Grapevine, Texas 76051. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation in Bill's name, to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org
He was born on December 7th, 1948, to Moletta and William B. Mason Jr., in Amarillo, TX.
Bill was raised in Carrollton, TX where he spent his early years working at his family businesses, Snug Harbor, a hunting and fishing resort, and Mason Pet Inn, a pet hotel.
He was a graduate of R.L. Turner High School and attended Tarleton State University. He married the love of his life, Margaret Mason, in 1995. Together, they opened Billi Bonze Bathhouse and Bone Boutique where they have had the pleasure of serving the Dallas community. Along with Billi Bonze, Bill created a business around another passion of his, Ten Barn Hay Company, distinguished and awarded for their quality and success. He will be remembered as an innovator, an outdoors-man, a lover of animals, and for a sense humor like no other.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Mason; father, W.B. Mason; brothers, Jeff Mason and wife, Bonnie, Chris Mason and wife, Sidney, and Perry Mason; sister, Melinda Coleman and husband JP, daughters, Staci and her husband, Louis Barham, Cori and her husband, Brigg Miller; grandchildren, Anthony, Bayley, Niki, Austin, Katlyn, and Tifanie; and great-granddaughter, Akira. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, bonded brothers, and friends.
