WILLIAM JAMES NOLTE, known affectionately as Bill, passed away on
June 28, 2024, at the age of 68 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Born on
May 21, 1956, Bill lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a
spirited sense of adventure.
Bill graduated from Keller High School before furthering his education
at the University of Texas at Arlington. He dedicated over 50 years to
his career as a Master Electrician; he was a member of IBEW Local 20
and spent the last 15 years teaching Electrical Classes, sharing his
extensive knowledge and passion for the field.
Outside of his professional life, Bill had a variety of interests that kept
his curiosity and creativity alive. He was talented in pen and ink
sketches and had a keen interest in computers and electrical gadgets.
Bill was also an enthusiast of muscle cars, particularly Corvettes, and
had a great appreciation for comedy, which always kept his spirits high.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Nolte; nieces Valerie Boyd, Kay
Barnett, and Gayle Whaley; brother-in-law David L. Whaley; and sister
Katherine Nolte.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bill can be made to the
The American Heart Association or the Presbyterian Night Shelter. Bill's
legacy will be cherished by all who knew him, as a man who loved life’s
adventures and who always extended a helping hand to others. His
presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
