After a courageous three year health battle and surrounded by his family at home, William Dale Revell left this life to be welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Dale was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on February 11, 1950 Glen and Elda Revell. At his birth, he joined the Revell Ford dealership family, where he experienced the car business from the ground up. This served him well as upon graduation from college in 1972, he began an entry level position with Ford Credit, the financial division of Ford Motor Company in USA and Canada. Through hard work formed by his deeply ingrained commitment to personal integrity, he advanced from a customer service representative in the Toronto, Ontario office to retiring 33 years later in Omaha, Nebraska as the Director of North American Customer Service Operations for Ford Motor Credit Company in both Canada and the US. His exemplary reputation as a business leader can be directly credited to his sense of responsibility, his dedication to excellence, and his desire to assist others in their career development.
Unapologetically, Dale was a man of deep faith who committed his life to Jesus as a young man. The legacy he has left to his descendants is one of trusting God’s wisdom, timing, and faithfulness in every life situation, even the ones beyond man's understanding.
During his lifetime, when not engaged in work related business, he enjoyed golfing, power boating, motorcycles, and of course cars! Many, many cars! The faster and shinier the better!
Left behind to grieve and yet rejoice that he is finally wholly healed are his wife of 53 years, Jane, his daughter, Cindy (Chris) Washburn, his son Matthew (Wendy) Revell, grandchildren Skylar Revell, Sebastian Fulbright, Sierra (Alex) James, Lauren (Aaron) Evans, Luke (Shannyn) Washburn, and William Washburn, and three great grandchildren - Lexi, Sage, and Cadence James. His family was by far his greatest joy.
Dale also will be deeply missed by his beloved sisters and brother in law - Glenda Paquette and Sandy (Chet) Babcock as well as many other family members and friends.
